Privacy Policy

Overview

plentyofstocks is built by JQuantLabs. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we will never do with it. We believe in plain language — if something is unclear, email us.

What We Collect

plentyofstocks may collect and store certain information to operate and improve the app. This includes stocks added to your watchlist, feature interactions, and general usage patterns. Some of this information may be transmitted to and stored on our secure servers.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information unless you contact us directly.

How We Use It

Information we collect is used to curate the stocks and content we surface in the app, understand demand for certain securities, and improve the overall experience. We do not use this information for targeted advertising and we do not build individual user profiles for marketing purposes.

We Will Not Sell Your Data

We will not sell your personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or other third parties. Information collected is used solely to operate and improve plentyofstocks. This is a firm commitment, not a policy we update when it becomes convenient to change.

Data Storage & Infrastructure

Information may be stored on third-party cloud infrastructure, including Cloudflare. We take reasonable technical measures to protect information in transit and at rest. No payment or financial account information is collected or stored by plentyofstocks — all purchases are handled directly by Apple through the App Store.

Third-Party Data Sources

All market data — news, prices, SEC filings, economic indicators — is sourced from public providers including SEC EDGAR, the Federal Reserve (FRED), and public RSS feeds. When the app fetches this data, your device's IP address is visible to those services as with any standard web request. This is outside our control and standard for all internet applications.

Analytics

We do not use third-party behavioral analytics SDKs or advertising tracking tools such as Facebook SDK, Amplitude, or Mixpanel. We do not use any advertising identifier (IDFA).

Advertising

plentyofstocks does not serve advertisements. The app is supported entirely by subscriptions. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated before any ads are shown.

Subscriptions

plentyofstocks Pro is a monthly subscription processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscriptions can be managed and cancelled at any time through your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Children

plentyofstocks is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of any personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you are in the European Union or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively — contact us for details.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
